1 Peter 5:6- NIV   Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Philippians

4:6-9  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8  Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me -- put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (NIV)

Matthew 6:25,27,31,33,34 25"  Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?'
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

John 1:29 Behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of he world"

John 3:16   For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Your Body is your Temple of God
1 Cor. 6:19-20  "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body," (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

Romans 8:6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; (NIV)

Phil. 4:8, "whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellent worthy of praise. Let your mind dwell on these things." (NASB)

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

These verses were selected because they are some of the ones that apply directly to how we can better handle life's situations.  They give us clear direction how to overcome obstacles and how to live a better life

Mark 8: 34 -38  "And He summoned the multitude with His disciples, and said to them, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake shall save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?  For what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

John 1:29 Behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of he world" 


Worship Him today, thank Him for everything you have, even if you don't have ll you want or need, thank Him for what you do have, for there are others who have much less.
